Think Privacy

For the Privacy Gift Shop

Part provocation, part education, Think Privacy is a year-long art campaign to raise awareness about emerging issues in an era of exuberant data collection.

Think Privacy officially launched at the New Museum Store in March 2016 and will run throughout the year. Editioned items from this collection can be purchased at the Privacy Gift Shop.

ANYTHING YOU SAY CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN A TARGETED ADVERTISEMENT
MIND THE CYBER THINGS. DEVICES CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET MAY BETRAY YOU.
DATA NEVER DIES. YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE BUT DATA IS FOREVER.
USERS MAKE BRANDS TAKE. IF YOU'RE NOT PAYING YOU'RE THE PRODUCT.
METADATA KILLS. IT ABSOLUTELY TELLS YOU EVERYTHING.
FUCK MY LIKE. BIG DATA KNOWS MORE ABOUT MY LIFE THAN I DO.

On March 17 2016, Think Privacy launched as a small pop-up exhibition at the New Museum Store in NYC, featuring a large tiled-mirror, silkscreen prints, and laser-etched signs (most of which were manufactured at NEW INC).

Each of the posters below is available as an edition of 100 at the Privacy Gift Shop
